Courtyard Hansaplatz

Hamburg/Germany

The concept evolves from the existing zones and includes playable and usable areas for kids and adults. A sitting area and movable furniture invites people to the courtyard. Flower beds are integrated into the playable areas and are supplemented in a “garden” zone. Here, people have the opportunity to create a garden themselves. Access routes provide direct access to the courtyard and provide a smooth transition between the various play areas. Disabled access through user-friendly surface, such as concrete paving stone, asphalt, etc. opens the yard for inspection and for playing. Wall elements serve to dissipate the surface water. The elements are covert with wood for seating.
